Version 14

February 2011 - Now

Well, this is the current version so you have already seen it. Isn't it pretty? Why not have a look at some of my previous websites and see its evolution?

Version 13

May 2010 - February 2011

Not very different from the previous version, this design was a little darker with the intent to concentrate more on the image rather than the design. With a new computer and the easy availability of high-speed internet the photos started to look too small... a new design was needed...

Version 12

April 2007 - April 2010

By far the longest iteration of the site. Laziness combined with a enduring love of the design made me keep this for 3 years.

CMS: Movable Type 4

Version 11

August 2005 - April 2007

A nice, clean design, with a bit of pixel background action and clean lines. This design service me for the longest period so far. Was also used as the bones for the next design.

Version 10

June 2005 - July 2005

This was a lovely re-design I put a fair bit of time into, cleaning up the css and html code etc. However, all of this was undone when my hosts' servers crashed and lost it all.

This version featured a new colour scheme and updated information.

Version 8

May 2004 - January 2005

This was the first deisgn of the Movable Type version of Astigmatism. The backend was adjusted from a basic Movable Type template and continued to be tinkered with for the entire life of the site.

Version 7

April 2004 (Unused)

I started to code up this design in April 2004, but after I looked at the backend I decided to bite the bullet, purchase some webspace and kentholloway.net, and use Movable Type.

Version 6

December 2004 - May 2004

The most recent (old) version of Astigmatism. After previous versions being so large, I decided to just display my favourite / best photos. A lot of the design ideas from this version have been improved upon through to the current version.

Version 5

July 2003 - December 2003

This is probably the most minimalist version of my site and remains my favourite.

Version 4

April 2003 - June 2003

This was probably the hardest version to code, I was trying to make it nice and orderly, failed miserably and it took way too long to update.

Version 3

February 2003 - April 2003

Black, orderly and minimal.
Not very pretty.

Version 2

July 2002 - February 2003

Basically just a re-tooling of the previous version. Different colours, better organisation and it's green!

Version 1

August 2001 - June 2002

My first photography website.
A little bit of line-drawing, some nice borders and friendly colours. This remained the same for 10 months until I grew bored with it.
