About Me

My name is Kent Holloway, I was born in Burnie, Tasmania and I currently live in Adelaide, South Australia.

Purchasing a Lomo LCA in late 2000 sparked my interest in photography and resulted in me in creating this site to present my photos to the world.

I enjoy all types of music, reading and watching things.

As a follower of anything in the zeitgeist, I'm on the Twitter (@kentlikesthings) and the Facebook.

About the Site

Kentholloway.net is designed and maintained by me. The design is built onto templates and the CMS (Content Management System) of Moveable Type (Current Version 4.3-en).

The url was purchased in May 2004 to enable me to take advantage of Movable Type’s CMS and give me more control over design and implementation. This design is Version 12 (Previous designs can be viewed here).

Once my photo’s are resized and minor adjustments made with Adobe Photoshop on my Apple MacBook Pro, they’re uploaded to my Dreamhost server using Cute FTP.

I used the font Exmouth for the logo and check out my site statistics using Mint.

I’ve gone to great lengths to ensure my site validates it’s XHTML, CSS and 508, and to make sure it looks identical on all browsers.

There are currently 1721 photos on the site.
